Ye surprised everyone in Chicago

Last year was one of the coolest concerts I have ever been to. Well, technically it was a festival. It was Chance The Rapper's Magnificent Coloring Day festival in Chicago. It was at the Sox stadium, and an all day event with a ton of great artists.

John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Tyler The Creator, Common and more were there. And there was a note on the festival poster that "more guests to come" or something like that.

My friend and I got to the event early...cause it was an all day event. We got our seats, walked around a bit, got some food and drinks. And watched the early artists perform. The stadium wasn't super crowded yet, but there was a good amount of people there.

And then Kanye West came out. They say he flew out to Chicago just to do the show then fly back somewhere else. A clip of his surprise performance is above. EVERYONE WAS FREAKING OUT. Kanye stole the show, at least the day portion of the show. The crowd literally went insane. People ran off the bleachers into the field to see him up close. He performed for probably 30-40 minutes. Maybe a little less. But it's KANYE WEST. Him and Chance did Ultralight Beams, too, which was absolutely legendary.

I really hope to see Chance perform again. I hope he does another Magnificent Coloring Day festival in Chicago cause it was such a great lineup and a good value. Chance bought back tickets from scalpers and sold them for cheap to actual fans. Such a cool dude.
