Fans are upset with Drake's "I'm Upset" single
Whenever Drake drops a new track, it takes over the Internet. At least for a little while. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook...everything. But his recent release of I'm Upset didn't seem to do that, at least not where I saw it.
I saw one tweet about the song, which prompted me to listen on Spotify and add it to my recent playlist. Why is this song quieter online if it is doing well numbers-wise according to the charts?
"I'm upset / Hundred thousand on my head, it's disrespect / So offended that I had to double check," Drake raps on the chorus of the Oogie Mane-produced track, which finds "thankful for the women that I know / Can't go 50/50 with no **."
"Every month, I'm supposed to pay her bills and get her what she wants? / I still got seven years of doing what I want / My dad still got child support from 1991."
With some more online research...I quickly saw other listeners had the same reaction I had. Not impressed with this track by Drizzy. Read some of the funny tweets below.
“I’m Upset” is the second single released off of Drake’s 2018 album Scorpion.
Throughout the track Drake discusses alimony and how he needs to protect his money from women out to get him.
I am excited to hear more from Drake before the release of Scorpion. I hope it's a little different, too.
