A color so loud, it can't be ignored
I have definitely written about Everytown multiple times on this blog, and here's another post. June 2nd is coming up, which means it's time to Wear Orange.
Every year, Everytown and our partner organizations across the country wear orange: both to honor those who have lost their lives and loved ones, and to demand a future free from gun violence. Join our movement—Wear Orange this year.
I have heard of the "Wear Orange" movement within the past year or so when I really started following Everytown, but wasn't entirely sure what it meant. But it totally makes sense. You wear orange because orange is the color that stands out. Orange is the color that hunters wear so that they are not targets. It is a loud color. And now students and Everytown have turned "Wear Orange" into a symbol for the value of human life everywhere.
